Re: Finals week one

Based on recent form, Sam Burgess will be able to stab half of our team during the game and still not get suspended.

I imagine it will need to be custom made. The good news is that it can be recycled and used as a circus tent.

Re: 2013 Official Thread + Signing news

I believe he has a pretty decent level of fitness. Don't let his size deceive you. He also has exceptional ball skills, which wins games of football and Premierships. Fair enough, I wouldn't personally know how fit he is... all I can go off is how long Manly leave him out on the field for, which is...

Is he being paid in meat pies?

We all know the emphasis on hard work and fitness Bellyache demands. I hope Rose is ready and willing.

Re: Finals week one

Both have played their part in defensive lapses on the left edge... One thing is for sure, playing Widdop after such a long time off is a big, big gamble at this time of the year. If he plays I hope he prepared to tackle. Sam Burgess will be running at him all night long trying to steamroll him. Cou...

I think Cronk. If he doesn't get the Dally M also, he will go very close.

Re: Finals week one

Our old friend Sam "I like to touch balls" Burgess has been up to his old tricks again. This time eye gouging, striking and kicking... All in the one match. http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/image-of-south-sydney-rabbitohs-superstar-sam-burgess-getting-battered-by-grubby-incidents/story-fnd...

Re: Upcoming Milestones

The stats are also slightly skewed due to his goal kicking really not being fulltime until 2006, so if anything, he should achieve those milestones in a shorter period than I have estimated. RE kicking duties, I agree. But I sincerely doubt that is a job Smith will want to give up. He goes through s...

Re: Upcoming Milestones

Cam Smith reached 1500 points on Saturday night. He ended the night on 1502 which means that he now has the most NRL points of any player to have represented the Storm - surpassing Matt Orford's 1500 with Northern Eagles, Melbourne Storm, Manly Sea Eagles and Canberra Raiders. Orford finished on 1,...

He was good in his limited opportunities. Hard runs that made a dent. A few defensive issues from memory but left me wanting more.

Re: Storm vs Titans 4/9 AAMI park 530pm

Do you guys think a close game like the one against the Tits is better for the casual Storm fan? In the sense that the excitement and drama of heading into Golden Point and barely scraping home is more likely to bring them back for more compared to a 20+ point flogging? Us really passionate Storm fa...

Re: 2013 Official Thread + Signing news

Furner!? Please no... Please. I haven't been too fussed on Kenny B just yet. His running game doesn't bend the line at all and he is regularly hit hard. On the positive side he looked better against the Titans, particularly in defence. Put on two very solid hits when we really needed someone to lift...

Re: Finals week one

Chambers did well last time, without doing much at all (other than playing his normal game). Anyone remember Burgess knocking on in a play the ball then getting pissy and throwing the ball at Chambers who was clapping?

Easy target for a rile up.

Re: Finals week one

A great result for us IMO. We have a real good shot at knocking off the Bunnies and then looking down the barrel of a home Prelim. Inglis's knee is still not right and even when he is fully fit, Bellamy has proven multiple times that he can shut him down. Take our enthusiasm and defence from the Tit...
