Re: Finals week one
Widdop is rusty but he rarely makes the correct pass in the right situation. Always has been a better runner than playmaker. He needs to see the gap and trust himself. Even the worst playmaker in the comp would have given the ball to Waqa for a simple try. It was almost identical to the try Hoffman...

Re: Finals week one
Shayne Hayne - take a bow you chump. How the f*ck does he send the Waqa try up as "No Try"? I'll answer that question myself, because he is a biased f*cking cheat. I also notice Gus and his merry band of Sydney loving men, defend S Burgess for taking out a Melbourne player after a line bre...

Re: 2014 line up????
Get Fonua playing centre in Q Cup! Just for the lulz ? He is better suited to centre IMO and played all of his NYC time there. Short nugget style wingers are out because they are just too easy to get above in the aerial contest. Fonua is STRONG, particularly his running game, and would be dangerous...

We are very thin on centres... Chambers is the only player on our books with first grade centre experience.Inglis#3 wrote:No way should Robinson be in the centres. He's one of the worst tacklers in first-grade.

Interesting... Hopefully that does not translate to - Blair to 5/8, O'Neill to Centre and Mahe to Wing.sallymay wrote:so is Mahe
I thought both Finch and Widdop were ok to play... Dammit Bellamy! His mind games are even working on me!

Re: Finals week one
Hope that's not accurate. We need some big boys to contain the Rabbits roll-on through the middle.
I would even consider starting Tohu and having Hinchy come off the bench.

Re: George Rose to play for Melbourne
Did Ryles play round 25? If so he was invisible,i completely missed him Yep, he played... He just didn't get too many minutes for whatever reason. When we met earlier in the year however, he was huge - making over 150m. i'd bet he will do a lot better than Ryles has done this year.....if it wasn't ...

Re: Ricky Stuart Quits Eels
Luckily for Parra there are so many axed coaches and up and coming assistants that will jump at any opportunity to coach first grade... Neil Henry is being touted as the likely replacement but there are a lot of others out there. Whoever takes them on has a big job... It is a risky coaching job. Par...

Re: George Rose to play for Melbourne
George to Melbourne won't help his weight,he's been training under one of the toughest nuts in Donny Singe That is a little bit worrying. It is a little bit worrying in general that someone who is a professional athlete and (I assume) completes all required training sessions can be obviously so ove...

Re: Ricky Stuart Quits Eels
In my opinion I think he screwed them over blazza... He went on and on at the start of the year about needing to go through a rebuilding phase. Asking fans to stick by the team and expect more 40+ point hidings this year but things will get better... Blah, blah. Not to mention a number of Parra play...

Re: Look what's coming out in December
Awesome. Will definitely pick up a copy.
I need to continue to build a stockpile of Smith/Slater books/DVDs so when I am an old man, I can rant and rave to my kids and grandkids about seeing two of the best RL players to ever lace up a boot.

Re: 2014 line up????
Looks good Inglis#3... I personally wouldn't have O'Neill in the centres though. He has struggled when playing there. He makes poor defensive decisions (granted he was not aided by Widdop) and I think he lacks size (weight) to play one in.
Fantastic winger however.
