Re: Official thread and signing news

Disappointing for Dan & Tyson. Obviously the club rates Cooper Johns, Jonah Pezet, Jayden Nikorima & Tyran Wishart. I was pretty shocked by Atkinson and Smoothy leaving given both debuted in first grade with the Storm this year. Thought Atkinson might have been a long-term project given how...

Re: 2022 predictions

Here's one I'd like to add from my own crystal ball.

Buoyed by the return of Cameron Munster, who's carrying an undisclosed leg injury, the Storm atone for their 2021 preliminary finals exit and qualify for the 2022 Grand Final.

Re: Lock position

NAS is a good option and we need him in the game for 50-60mins I think Eisenhuth might have the makings of a lock more in the Dale mould I'd get behind Eisenhuth playing there. He's awesome. Hard worker, covers a heap of positions. Alternatively, I'd love Tui Kamikamica starting there for a bit mor...

Re: End of year celebrations - to be investigated

If you're stupid enough to be doing what they were obviously doing, you're stupid enough to record it (or not care that it was). I'm starting to not really care whether we end up losing Munster to a new Brisbane team - his lacklustre or ineffective games are now just about equaling (or even outnumb...

Re: Preliminary final 2 - Saturday 25th

Let’s face it - losing two starting forwards in the opening 15 minutes was an absolute disaster.

It also meant the bench was effectively a fullback and a prop which is just… Not great?

Also, Munster was absolutely horrendous. Some of his kicking in general play was woeful.

Re: Preliminary final 2 - Saturday 25th

The team that has the best completion percentage will win I think the team with the best go-forward & defensive pressure will win - against good kicking teams where we're constantly being forced to come out of our own 10 metre zone with our smaller guys, and not much help from our forwards in t...

Re: Preliminary final 2 - Saturday 25th

Sorry to jinx you guys but in 2018 and 2019 against the Roosters I was driving my car during both games and we lost. I have to be driving again tomorrow and will miss the game on TV, so if we lose it’s all on me unfortunately That’s a shame mate. Won’t that clash with your daily ritual of trying to...

Re: Penrith lose- now we play them in Plemin

We can only beat who is on the park on the day. Also, our team have been away from their home state for how many months, compared to NSW clubs? If we do end up winning the GF, then we are very deserving of having the back to back crown! Good point here. I'm sure about 72 hours ago a lot of us on he...

Re: Qualifying Final - Storm vs Sea Eagles

Riders of the Storm the fact we have a full strength forward pack makes me feel confident if we play anywhere near our best we win. Tui has had a couple of games back and NAS one game and the rest of forwards have had rests. Craig will also have a defensive plan in place to try and nullify Turbo an...

Re: Qualifying Final - Storm vs Sea Eagles

I really hope part of the preparation for this game involves watching what Newcastle did to Manly earlier this year. Admittedly, Manly were missing a few key forwards but they still had both the Trbojevic brothers playing. It looked like the Knights (who were also missing key personnel including Pon...

Re: Qualifying Final - Storm vs Sea Eagles

A healthy and and motivated JAC would be the bigger out. We can at least cope with Munster missing a week. Not having a reliable winger on either side will be a killer Friday night. I agree with this. Hynes slots in there nicely. It also would allow Bellamy to run a bigger bench of potentially: Gra...

Re: Qualifying Final - Storm vs Sea Eagles

The guys should be in better stead up front this time compared to the last time they played Manly.

Kamikamica, Asofa-Solomona and Kaufusi were all missing in the last match up.

Re: RD 25 vs Cronulla

It would be good if Fox Sports replayed the tackle for which NAS was charged for. So we could see if there was anything in it. Pretty poor but they have time constraints I guess. Here it is apparently – it was a late tackle and not a tackle on the kicker as the referee was referring too: https://im...

Neither have I. The only thing I've seen is Trindall doing two chip kicks and in one of them NAS runs through and swipes at him but misses the guy completely.
