My memory is sketchy, but I think we only used that Grant off the bench replacing Garlick maybe 3-4 times last year. Wasn't like it happened every week.

Its almost as if Craig could forsee the need for an extra prop. We'll get a good extended look at Moeroa and Macdonald.

Interesting. I wonder if he gets a game then . I would assume he comes in for Macdonald, but it might be tempting to bring him in for Welch instead. I can't see them going with a bench of Wishart, Welch, NAS and Macdonald for instance.

If the play-by-play information on the QRL website is correct, Joe Chan played the full 80, which is a good sign. That left -side spot in the second row is very open at this stage . Shawn Blore can’t seem to get the full 80 minutes, whereas Joe can. Will Craig give Shawn and Munster another chance ...

He came out of contract at a good time for him and a bad time for us. 2x Bromwich, felise and Smith had just gone and Welch was injured. Plus there wasn't much in the way of quality props available. NAS's potential is $900k but we've yet to receive that from him yet.

Interesting. It's probably been 10 years since we've gone with 3 props on the bench. So that to me indicates a Jack Howarth debut (yes I know he has already played but this would be a legitimate 'debut', not one where everyone gets rested)

Yep hadn't seen him named anywhere for a while. Poasi Manu and Jared Nauma were both named 18th man in the QRL, which is a shame.
