1st Semi Final vs Roosters @ AAMI Park
Seve has copped it a bit at times due to poor play, particularly in defence.
But he deserves credit where it is due as well, and I thought he was one of best last night. Well done mate.
Actually, since being back in the team he has played well.

Seve at the back end of last year and when he got his chance this year has started to show a bit. I think he's still young too. Could be a good player for a while for us if he can keep his confidence up.
I think confidence is key with him, when he's felt like the spot is his, he's played well but when he's thought he was only one game from being dropped, he's gotten nervous about making errors and played himself out of the team.

To me Seve is just doing a lot of simple things and not much else. It's not a knock on him btw and it's actually good that we have at least one centre who you know what you're going to get out of. The lack of creativity he brings hurts though.
Week 1 - All four Broncos tries were down Tonumaipea’s corridor.
Week 2 - The only try on Seve’s side was after Seve laid a beautiful cover tackle on Baker to save a try and Brandon barged over on the next play.

Matter of fact, I went all the way back to Rd24. Despite the team haemorrhaging points a few times, I would argue he made one defensive misread that entire time that lead to a try and even that one wasn’t just him.

The line of the night as far as I'm concerned was calling William Warbrick "The Brick with Tries"
I missed that. That is excellent. The Black Dot wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 12:57 pm The line of the night as far as I'm concerned was calling William Warbrick "The Brick with Tries"
