Weird half, seen the best and worst of us. I expect a fired up 2nd half effort but boy do we make it hard on ourselves, so inconsistent this year I’m not sure we have the ability to win 4 weeks in a row in the finals.

Frankly, I don't think we do either

Stop giving away penalties and win. Plain and simple

Cos he’s 3 times the player that MacDonald is… maybe? Tepai has been enormous for us since his return.

The one I shake my head over is King. I know he’s Bellamy’s love child and he trains the house down, blah blah, but he’s just a player for mine. That one on one strip on him was just P-weak.

Our defence is nowhere near top 8 worthy - we just sit back and watch - no one is really interested in this.

Coming out party for Katoa.

Welch is probably the biggest issue with the forward pack atm. Needing to start him and play him decent minutes kills our middle.

That Katoa hit on Hunt was delicious

Congrats to the Fox Sports Official StG-I Cheer Squad who did their best to will them over the line. Honourable mention to that bearded git ref who tried valiantly to get them up but ultimately fell short.

Yeah, Welsh is now a bench player at best.

Just glad that game is over - that was terrible to watch, except for a few moments from Katoa, Warbrick, Hughes and Coates.

Did NAS even play? (I know he did, but I saw more of Garlick than someone like him who is so important)

A win is a win.

Must do better against better teams…

Katoa, Warbrick and Hughes clearly our best

That was a whole lot of yuck combined with the odd moment of brilliance.

Let’s take it and run. Look forward to seeing Paps coming off the bench next week.

Munster another poor game too, Hughes has been carrying us lately need a lot more from Cam coming into the finals. Thought Katoa was awesome, Meaney was solid and Warbrick finished some nice plays, a few passengers though, the centres were both average, as mentioned Munster not at his best and in the engine room I agree with the consensus Welch and a few others have been pretty soft, not sure what the answer is tonight was pretty poor we would have lost to most teams with that effort tonight I’m not sure what to make of it honestly, we need to improve a lot to be competitive. Hughes has been our shining light lately been on fire 🔥

Few interesting stats

- No forward ran for over 100 metres except for Tom Eisenhuth (104m)
- Munster and Loiero missed 10 tackles combined in that alley
- Hughes 3 try assists 🔥
- Katoa 2 try’s and a try assist
- Warbrick 1st half hat-trick
- 92 % completion rate 👏
- 16 ineffective tackles vs the Dragons 4
