RD 11 - Storm v Broncos @ AAMI Park (Thur 11 May)
I am a huuuuuge Warbrick fan and tonight he's been up against it and in everything tonight. Super unlucky to not get a double and incredibly lucky to not get caught with his pants down against Walsh
Edit: gets rewarded with a double and some amazing heads up football. Bravo.

Just wow, the officiating tonight was all kinds of weird. How the bunker didn't award Coates a try at the end.... it was off olams head.
And the nrl wonders why they get accused of bias.
On a happier note, not a bad win despite everything, love it

That was a total mess.
On the plus side - Hughes seems to have turned a corner. I think the biggest issue is he’s far more dangerous when he’s making moves off broken play.
Thought Warbrick, Welch, Grant and Munster were good too.

The ref killed that game. Surely he's dropped.
I think Reimis and Warbrick are a solid duo. Reimis plays with a lot of fire which I love. Warbrick is just always in it and ready for opportunities, strong run, athletic, raw ability. He will be a fine winger.
Meany developing a great combo with the spine running in support especially following Grant. He held his own returning kicks tonight.
Coates still needs to work on his physicality, gets out muscled. However tonight his constant kick chase pressure was the difference. Created enough doubt for them to crack. He also is making a habit of creating something out of a nothing/dead play.
Munster stood up.
Hughes stood up too, more of the steps creating gaps sticking the head through.
Welch lead great as per usual.
Pene surely gets a wake up call, as does katoa. However I'll note Katoa was more physical after he stuffed his try.
Loiero hit on Staggs was a mood changer good work.
Olam no longer has his fend or bumping ability he just runs hard gets hugged and brought to ground. Confidence? Lacking the ability? Wonder what the go is with him.

Solid win.
With dodgy decisions reversed it could have been 42-10!
Nice to knock off the top of the league team..

Gritty win by the boys.
As others have noted, despite the two sin bins the referee didn't help us:
Walsh shoulder charge on Olam should have been a penalty try.
Ball comes off Olam's head called a knock on, Coates runs 80m for the try.
For their last try Flegler is holding Pene at marker that has to be an obstruction.

Katoa was lucky we won because he was a little complacent trying to score that try and got caught with his pants down.
Will Warbrick (or as my mate calls him Will Warbeast) was great, fast becoming one of my favourite players.
Glad we used high kicking game to our advantage tonight.
Could have been a whole different story if Reynolds doesn't knock himself out.
