Feeling the Storm might just edge this one.
The Eels have been really effective at coffin kicking our guys to death but I’m a fan of the two wingers and their ability in the air.
Have to hope the weather holds up though (bit overcast and damp in Sydney today) because with Welch and NAS starting I think the guys will be going for a high tempo game with heaps of off-loading in the middle.

Welch and NAS are key.
If we utilise X and Billy Brick then its lights out (mainly for Lumelume), Warbrick would be right at home tackling the super athletic Sivo, thankfully hes got 6 more players on the field with him this time.

Plan has to be to play Garlick as a back-rower and potentially use MacDonald as a middle along with Grant.

There’s obviously a strategy. Much more mobile. Maybe the coaches expect a quick game ?
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
What a hard fought win that was. Garlick didn’t do anything flashy but knew what he was doing. MacDonald made a huge impact late. Harry is Harry.
Feel bad for Wishart. He keeps getting put in the worst spots. Deserves better.

Fantastic win first up with patched up team.
The effort on the Moses charged down FG sums up the Storm.
Well played boys

The half-time adjustments were excellent.
Clearly the directive was to focus on tightening up and going through the middle. I think Grant might’ve copped a spray too because his involvement after half-time was huge.
King looks awesome. Ditto Meaney. Loved how involved Munster and Hughes were too - often willing to take hard carried and take pressure off the pack and the backs.
Very, very happy with that win.
