Weidler is a hack based on the tripe he has historically passed off as journalism...
You could have left it there. Actually, not quite. You could have added that he passionately loathes Cam Smith and despises Bellamy for his success. As a result he always presents anything Storm related in the worst possible light.

The conversation could just have easily been (and very probably was) around Josh talking to the club about wanting his family to be more involved with his children's upbringing and how could that be accommodated.

Hi guys and girls , Been along time since I been on. Before the new site. So glad to be back. My only comment is- I hope all is well in Storm Land. Because I love the Storm and they work so hard and deserve all the success and seems lately we lost some real talent, young talent at that but hoping they can pull it all together in the usual Storm fashion.

Ryley Jacks has signed a one year deal with the Storm. Welcome back Ryley.

Two spots to fill in the top 30.

Ignoring salaries. Keeping Croft makes more sense than bringing back a reserve grade level halfback back.

Suliasi Vunivalu has signed with ARU and Queensland Reds for two years from 2021.

Fugg me....almost an entire starting First Grade back line gone in 2 seasons ... :-\ :-\

and please...no one try to make me feel better by reminding me that Sandor Earl is still with the Club.

Not sure the recentish signings of Cameron and Cameron are all that exciting when they've got no one to play with. Time for some real signings now.

With all due respect to Ryley, that just ain't enough.

JAC will be a MASSIVE loss for us and is very concerning, but I'm fine with Seve and Olam taking up 2 of those 4 spots, and I'm sure we'll have/find others to fill the remaining spots - if we're forced to elevate Earl to regular starter I'll certainly be a little more worried though.

I don't think there's too many of us here that have been that impressed with Chambers or Suli over the last year or so (even though we've completely abandoned putting up the high ball for Suli for some reason!), Curtis has been brilliant in patches, not so great in others, and Croft just didn't seem to be growing into the role of a FG half anywhere near the Cronk 2.0 that we hoped for.

So although I don't think it's all doom & gloom just yet, the handling of the salary cap and the loss of JAC at some point certainly has me in "alert, not alarmed" mode. Can we not just move all of JAC's family to Melbourne?!? :?

Does anyone know which Sunshine Coast Falcons and Easts Tigers players are doing pre-season training with the Storm?

Couple of players I wouldn't mind signing from the Falcons are Siti Moceidreke or Nat McGavin. Moceidreke is a 24 year old Fijian international who can play wing, centre, fullback or five eighth and McGavin is a 23 year old winger who impressed me this season. What are other people's thoughts?

Brenko Lee signed by Easts Tigers and will do the pre-season with the Storm.

Marcus Jensen, Linc Port and Michael Purcell are other backs signed by Easts as well.

ALX22 given the exodus I'd say there is a far chance Lee is upgraded. After a year away from the Tigers it is good to see Linc Port back at the Tigers I am a fan of his.

Joel Moon has signed with the Falcons so he is another option.
