2 points. Not much else to like about that game.

Except Jahrome Hughes. Very impressed.

Munster is really coming along nicely. We’re asking so much of him as a ball player and creator.

Still think there should be a spot for Hughes in our best 17.

Kept thinking about how mad I was at Croft for making us put up with Jacks again.

A bit left field but I would try Jahrome Hughes at 7 - he plays 6 for the SC Falcons and can organise and kick well. Would certainly give the team more balance...
This. Hughes has a great football brain. I really liked some of the kicking options he came up with and he threatens the line a lot.

7-6 more like a set of tennis.

Jesse was strong from the bench. Also f*ck the Fox League commentators. Smith was very good for us tonight. Put aside one pass that hit the deck from DH that he threw, other than that, he was excellent.

Munster had 5 missed tackled last night. I believe he should be dropped to Q cup to learn how to tackle.

Felise Kaufusi has been put on report in the Storm’s win over the Cowboys placing his Origin hopes in doubt

Kaufusi was placed on report in the 62nd minute for a cannonball tackle and he pulled at the leg of Matt Scott as he got to his feet, just a fortnight after Cameron Smith was suspended for a similar motion when he injured Kevin Proctor with a wishbone tackle.

Nothing in the Felise tackle. Just reaching.

The leg pull was dumb but I don't see how his tackle was a cannonball tackle when he wrapped his arms around Scott's legs. It was nothing like the old Luke tackle that started the whole debate.

Forceful and below the knees. Couple that with the leg pull (and that he's a Queenslander 2 weeks out from Origin) and I think he'll get two weeks.
Kasiano's late hit might get 1 as well.

Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy has given a huge wrap to winger Suliasi Vunivalu after he welcomed a new child into his family on the same day he helped the Storm score a 7-6 win over the North Queensland Cowboys some 2600km away.

Vunivalu played one of his best games of 2018 according to his coach, a performance all the more impressive considering the massive day he had been through.

"I don't know if too many people know, but Suliasi Vunivalu's partner had a little boy last night at 20-past-two and he jumped on the plane this morning to come up here," Bellamy said.

"We didn't expect that at all, originally we thought she was going to have it on the Wednesday so he was going to come up Thursday night, but when we heard that she wasn't having it until [Thursday] night we just said 'don't come up'."

"He was very, very persistent that he wanted to come up and play and I thought he probably had his best game of the year to be quite honest, he was outstanding."

"Outstanding"? Wow. I guess Bellamy's standards have dropped somewhat. :shock2:
