I don’t know if he’s got any inside news or not, there is a chance he does seeing that he’s son is at the club, or if he’s just taking an educated guess or what but thought it was interesting. Would be great if Scott didn’t miss any game time

Sorry I can't see the word educated and Matty Johns going together in the same sentence lol

A cannon-ball tackle by Mason Lino. Probably frustrated that he was so exposed by the Storm attack. Munster gave him a good serve. Refs did SFA.
Nothing to see re cannonball tackles... unless it is NAS laying the tackle (like a couple of weeks ago when he got penalised).

There is two sides to Matty Johns.

A smart side and a deadset dipshit bogan side.

I really like Matty. He has always spoken about our club in the best possible light. We don't have too many supporters in the Sydney media, so it is refreshing to get some support by a respected media personality.

Yep, a bit bogan - but we are talking about Rugby League after all...

So Frank Ponissi says he expects Scott to be named and be given every opportunity to play but most likely will be back next week against the Titans

Well that is pretty lucky considering how he left the field...

From Frank's Round 9 Injury Report;

1. Cheyse Blair - Successfully returned to Q Cup last week.
2. Suliasi Vunivalu - Likely to play this week, however they will monitor the hamstring and not take any chances.
3. Dale Finucane - Good chance to play this week (slightly less likely than Suli - No contact work as yet).
4. Tim Glasby - 4 to 6 weeks out.
5. Curtis Scott - Better than first thought. Probably won't play this week but slight chance.
6. Jesse Bromwich - Still 2 - 3 weeks out still.
7. Ryan Papenhyuzen - Concussion has kept him out for a few weeks. Back to contact this week and likely play this week if no symptoms reoccur.
8. Billy Walters - Will return from injury to play this week in Q Cup.
9. Scott Drinkwater - Will return from injury to play this week in Q Cup.

Hopefully this time next week that last goes from 9 down to 2 (Jesse and Glasby). Hoping to enter the origin period with a clean bill of health.

Earl returns to full training

The comeback story of 2018 has added another chapter with Sandor Earl returning to full training.

Just over five months since rupturing his ACL, Earl completed a full session alongside his teammates last Thursday.

It was a significant and deserving milestone for a player who has attacked his rehab with incredible drive and determination from day one.

In April the 28-year-old detailed his motivation to pull on the purple jersey sooner rather than latter and he is certainly on the right track.

Earl will now set his sights on returning to the field through the Queensland Cup in early July.

From Frank's Round 10 Injury Report;

Curtis Scott - Completed the partial session he was scheduled to do yesterday. If he pulls up OK, he should play on Saturday.
Jesse Bromwich - Out this week and likely next week. Expected to return against the Cowboys.
Tim Glasby - Same as J Brom.
Young Tonumaipea - Likely available for the Cowboys game as well in three weeks time. To be monitored though and given it is a hammy, may be held off that week as well (bye the following week), just to be sure.
Louis Geraghty - Ankle injury. 3 to 4 weeks.
Sandor Earl - As mentioned, back in full training now. Will be monitored over the next month before a decision is made on a return date.

From Frank's Round 11 Injury Report;

Jesse Bromwich - Expected to return against the Cowboys. Might sit out as we have the bye following but if he looks good early next week, they will play him.
Sandor Earl - Back in full training for over a week now. To be assessed next week and a decision made on a definitive return date. Looking the latter part of June now.
Louis Geraghty - Ankle injury. Still 2 to 3 weeks.

Hope he goes well. He's been through a lot and from all accounts has worked very hard to get to where he's at.
