Disappointing Brandon did not play. I see Joe Stimson did not play either. Hopefully just rested, and ( as I mentioned on another thread ) he comes back next week perhaps to give Felise or Dale a rest
Was a great game to watch. Kamikamica developing nicely. Olam with some work to do in defence, but a very very strong ball runner. A potential try of the year went begging with Drinkwater deciding to be lazy and throw a one hander to Olam.
Another good find in Geraghty [assuming he will gain 1 of the 5 U20 NRL contracts?].

Does anyone know what happened to Jahrome Hughes? He went off after 65 mins last week. On the Storm website he has not been listed as playing for Storm or Falcons, although he is listed on the QRL website as playing ( as is Brandon Smith ).
He clearly is the best option if any issues arise with our 1-6. It is very important to have him in the wings. I hope he is ok.
Interestingly, Joe Stimson is the only player outside our nominated 1-17 ('and the long-termers Welch, Turpin, Leuluai and Blair ) who is not named in QRL. Maybe he plays for Storm on Saturday night - or maybe the QRL clubs are guessing and have no inside information.
Does anyone have any news or thoughts on the above?

RobbieRoss Joe Stimson has played 15 NRL games maybe there are qualification rules to be eligible for Qld Cup finals. 15 NRL games might be too many. Not 100% sure often qualification rules for these comps are dependent on your first grade side no longer playing. Just a thought.

RobbieRoss just read an article that said that Jahrome Hughes hurt his back. According to Falcons coach Craig Ingebrigtsen Hughes won't play this week but will be right for the week after.RobbieRoss wrote:Does anyone know what happened to Jahrome Hughes?
