On the QRL website, Tonumaipea has been named for Easts, and Scott not named. I hope they have been given the word that Curtis will play for Storm.NevilleB wrote:I'm calling chambers to left side to mark leilua and Curtis can play right side, and piss turnstile right out of there
Jahrome Hughes not named in QRL. I hope he is ok. His 2 games for Storm suggest to me that he must be next cab off the rank for a backline (1-5) position.
Looking forward to this one. I'm a Canberra local so I go every year.
Canberra have their backs against the walls. Being written off by most for a finals spot. Our boys play them twice and better be ready for an ambush!

clearly damaged his hand in the one of the last tackles of the previous game...could see it was bothering him as the game finished.RobbieRoss wrote:On the QRL website, Tonumaipea has been named for Easts, and Scott not named. maybe a slight hand injury ?
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
Really good opportunity to make amends for our last game in Canberra. Didn't think we responded well at all after they had a fast start. Probably one of our more frustrating games of the season. Very un-Storm like.
Every year at this point of the season we seem to play a few teams who 'must' win against us and we usually make them look ordinary.
Usually a game against Canberra anywhere I'm not overly confident but this time I think we'll roll them.

I think teams always aim up when they play us. Hoping the boys can maintain their consistency even if it means we get into some games that get tighter than we would like. All good prep for finals footy.
