Never on? It was the only option - it obviously wasn't 'the play' ...but it was a really good kick (with a really lucky bounce) and a great chase.yourhero wrote: The kick Slater put in was a nothing kick and it was never on. Got very lucky with that.
It's a shame Will won't be around for a few weeks...seems to have stepped up tonight. Hoffman is trying too hard - my guess would be he might be in the crosshairs.
Blazza let it go mate, Roberts made afew handling errors but was dangerous all night !! That break and set up for Cronks try was sublime!!
Smith, Cronk, Chambers the best on field, Young T showing promise, Slater and Hoffman were shite lol

I find this whole Roberts thing funny. I mean the way he just came into his own when we were down lol.
Chambers was outstanding and Proctor too. Really think Jesse needs help up front, Norrie really doesn't offer much.
As much as I think Hoffy is past it I thought he showed great commitment tonight and tried till the very end.

Slater has always been suspect under the high ball and his error tonight was one of many this year. I won't be popular, but him and Hoffman are past there best and have been extremely ordinary all year, tonight only reinforced that there days are numbered. I thought KP, Cam and Will played well, Jesse as always stepped up. Not confident of coming up against out supposed bogey team next weeekend mind you...
