Finals week one
Both have played their part in defensive lapses on the left edge...
One thing is for sure, playing Widdop after such a long time off is a big, big gamble at this time of the year.
If he plays I hope he prepared to tackle. Sam Burgess will be running at him all night long trying to steamroll him. Could expose that left edge even more if Blair feels compelled to come in and help out.

Blair would likely be 5/8 if neither were fit and that's a possibility here. Juzz goes centre and Fonua to wing.Go Storm wrote:Why would Blair play 5/8 if Finch and/or Widdop is fit?
Perhaps I mis-understood you? And yeah, I'd prefer a fit Finch over Widdop.
Worst case scenario- no Finch or Widdop available. I'd prefer to see Hampton at 6 than Blair.
A fully fit widdop any day over Finch, but we need to appreciate Widdops been unable to train for so long. The best play for Bellamy is play finch if he's fit and give Widdop another week or two to get match fit and more time on the training paddock.

Just want a team of 17 purple soldiers hungry for battle
13 against 13 on the 13th will take care of itself

Of course they will, the refs have an agenda to get the Rabbits through, and if it is Shayne Hayne.. then I don't think that I can watch, I can't afford a new tele at the moment .Bourbon Rat wrote:Hmm ?
Just gotta watch on Friday that the 'officials' don't fall for Sutton n Co working on their academy award routine
Let battle be joined & the best on the day get a fair victory.
How many times do you reckon Inglis will take a dive ??
Apparently Finch pulled up better than expected. Either player will potentially be an option... Big decision.
Also, how do we continue to get Shayne Hayne assigned to our games every week!? FMD. Uphill battle even before kick-off.

CORRECT ! Injury cover ? or just to do Madge's head inblazza18 wrote:Widdop not named for Easts.
I reckon Bellamy will name both Widdop and Finch in his extended squad. Mind games etc.

Hey Ice what chance is Inglis having a dip? He'll be missing when it counts.
13 Purple Champions on shame hayne and co. How many penalties will he give his team in the first half after the 3 or 4th tackle esp if they haven`t made enough metres in the set. Then of course he will give us the obligatory evener up on our line late in 2nd half.Bourbon Rat wrote:Just want a team of 17 purple soldiers hungry for battle

I put shame hayne in the same class as paul simplkins. BOTH VERY INEPT & BIASED AGAINST STORM.

No. We need size and the ability to tackle tonight, and a full 17 man rotation, not two possibly 50-50 5/8's.
