Havnt read this anywhere but have it on good authority from someone that was there, and thought it was pretty cool.
Ben Cross and Antonio Kaufusi went into the Storm rooms straight after the game and sang the team song with them ,
Another couple of guys who were forced to go but didnt want to leave the club.

The thing about Rl that I like way over GaFL is that the players at least seem more grown up, accepting and show much more true comradery(sp).Storm Spirit wrote:That is very very very cool from those guys.....mind you...the Knights might be a bit pissed off !Play the ball wrote: Havnt read this anywhere but have it on good authority from someone that was there, and thought it was pretty cool.

In league you talk to the opposition before the game, go out and try to smash the *lima lima lima duck* for 80min then at fulltime you give them a hug and have a laugh.
They hate that type of thing in AFL.

Great to see - by the time the tributes finished and the lap, the Knights would have been all done anyway so great to see

And that's why the Storm win premierships, not by paying over the odds, money can't buy that sort of spirit.

Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake - WC Fields
Last I read he had signed a 1-yr deal with the Knights, yes.mb09 wrote: Has Ben Cross re-signed with Knights?
Hows the fine upstanding habit of crapping in hotel rooms an example of being grown up? I'm a born and bred AFL supporter and I love the Storm as well. It's possible to enjoy both without having to sledge one. I know AFL has its issues as well but league isnt perfect either. AFL players usually all shake hands after the game, quite often have a chat and laugh while walking off the field so it's not unique to league.CaptainKlutz wrote:The thing about Rl that I like way over GaFL is that the players at least seem more grown up, accepting and show much more true comradery(sp).Storm Spirit wrote:That is very very very cool from those guys.....mind you...the Knights might be a bit pissed off !Play the ball wrote: Havnt read this anywhere but have it on good authority from someone that was there, and thought it was pretty cool.

It's Storm season.

Yeah that's true, it's actually rare if you don't see at least a few players from opposition teams interacting after the game.
Ben Cross is a cat who specialises in dog shots,he should have been suspended on intent
