Yeah, ill agree with that...CS was a big step up from 7, but the last two editions have not been worthy of $700 for an upgrade.

i stole borrowed photoshop CS3 from the school computers via USB and wasnt to impressed, theyve added features that they think are good but they are just a hassle

I don't even know what they are to be honest, other than a performance boost on vista.

speaking of vista, what a load of crap like 50% of ur harddrive goes to keepng that thing running! n then it lags coz it requires a pentium 2000 were as mear mortals only have 3,4 or M

It varies with your setup, ive got a relatively new machine and generally it functions quicker than XP.

Its not actually that heavy on graphics or processor (with the visual shit turned off), but it chews up memory like a little bitch. You really need at least 2GB to get it going at a decent rate.

I started with 7, it was the shit.

Honestly, i couldn't give a hoot. It's not as though anyone actually BUYS photoshop...
