Orford the elephant packed his bag

And said goodbye to Olympic

Off he went like a fat greedy lump

C UNT! C UNT! C UNT!

Orford the elephant packed his cash

And trundled off to the porn shop!

Off he went to that Brookvale dump

C UNT! C UNT! C UNT!

Here's one I came up with at the Tigers game earlier in the year -

Oh, Matt Orford's not magic
He has no Magic Hat
And when he saw Olympic Park he said "Yeah right **** that"
He went and signed with manly, even though they're shit,
But we don't give a stuff 'cos he's a little prick.

   I was pissed off at that time.

Good luck to him at Manly. As long as he's in a Storm jersey, I'll still support him through to the end.

Stormboy will be missing in action for Cronulla and Newcastle because of music business committments both here and Brisbane, music is his other life as many know, can't be helped but will return bigger and louder at Townsville to party, party, party for a number of reasons!

Cheers

I agree, he is still a Melbourne Storm player until the season ends.

But I fear that some "supporters" will boo him. I just hope if he kicks for goal that there is dead silence as he lines up for the kick.

its apart of the sport/business....its how these people make a living, so these "supporters" and i use that word loosely, should get off his back...im not a big fan of him...but still respect him enough not to be childish and call him names and boo him. ill wait till he leaves untill i do that. ;)

And therein lies the problem doesn't it?
The players are professionals securing a "life after football".
The teams are "businesses" or "franchises".
It's not about the game anymore, it's a multi-millon dollar industry powered by the advertising $$$$.

It's only the supporters who still believe in the magic of the club. Supporters don't move on for a better offer which will set them up for life. To the mug punters (like us) football isn't just life and death. It's far more important than that.

no it is much more then that....but it certainly does not give any supporter the right to abuse another player and call him a C***, after all it is there job, nobody would like someone to chant at you and call you aC***t at work would you?

and sadly yes thats all footy is these days is money...

You should come to my workplace, I get called that on average once a month, and I'm sure others on this board have that word thrown at them at least as frequently.
