I note that a number of AFL clubs are familiar with our players.
Wouldn't be surprised if we lost 5 to 10 players over the next couple of years to that code.

What 'threat'?
There's no threat. Hunt is 22, played AFL at school. Bored. Won a Grand Final. Played Origin and Tests. Wants more cash.
Simple. Will it lead to a mass exodus? No way. You just can't go from the NRL elite to the AFL elite - if he does, good luck to him - but its more likely that he'll simply be another good AFL player. He won't be a Gary Ablett or Ben Cousins.
I wonder how he'll take to playing park footy in the VFL for 12 months. I guess $1 million per year will ease his frustration somewhat.
We have the Dragons this weekend in a major blockbuster - 6 weeks out from the finals. Yet all the media focus on is that the NRL sky is falling (yet again).

The only thing Hunt has showed in the NRL is a stupid fancy step and the odd off-load...without that he has nothing, and in afl he wont be able to do either.
