It was even funnier reading about the cricket match on an English forum.
Certainly made a nice change from all the football and rugby threads  :x

I love that show, although the host annoys the crap outta me, I wish one of the spirits would take over her body and throw her about the room.

Reminds me of what I have booked for my birthday in a couple of weeks ... http://www.destinytours.com.au/sydney.htm
I'll definately have to do that tour next time I am in Sydney.  I did do one in Melbourne which was more of a history lesson, but still really interesting.  Did anyone know that the Victoria Market and Flagstaff Gardens have 1000's of bodies buried underneath them?  (It was a mass graveyard in the 1800's).

But I'd really like to go to Monte Christo next time I'm near Junee (not for a long time I'm thinking!)

Not sure if you like Theatre Restaurants Christa, but the show is really good at:

The food is always average, but the stage show is really good (and the ghost train ride on the way in).

Pentridge was a cemetary before the gaol was built over the top of it too.

I've heard that there are ghosts there not only of ex prisoners, but those who are buried underneath.

As a kid,til I was 6 i think,we lived in a house in Caulfield that was 4 houses down from Brighton cemetary.

At night time,I would often hear footsteps down the hall way or I would feel a presense in my room.Apprently if you were in the neighbours house, you could hear ghosts in our house and vice versa.A few times little near misses were avoided because Mum heard something or thought she saw something. She stopped herself from chopping her hand off when she was chopping wood one night because she thought she saw someone walking across our backyard.

Same sort of thing when I was briefly living in Brisbane, things would mysteriously get moved or misplaced, and the house had a very cold, eery vibe to it.Apprently the people who use to live there had a young daughter who died of cancer very young,we came to the conclusion it was her spirit there.

safe to say that if i were in your position i would have needed a new pair of pants very quick.

the only thing my auntie bases her theory on is that after she makes the bed in the morning , when she gets back from work the sheets appear as if some one had sat on the edge of the bed
