Well it is all through the media that Ian Thorpe return a drug test that is indicating that he may have taking something that would return a positive drug test.
Having meet the bloke twice and not being an Australian sports supporter in any way shape or form, I have to say I find the frogs newspaper report CRAP, IMO.
Thorpe is one of the most honest guys I have ever come across and I really can't seeing this issue being true.
The Frog newspaper should be taken over the coals and made sure they can not effect someones lives and accuse someone of drug taking like they have ever again.
Even being an English supporter, I think Ian Thorpe is one of the nicest people that will spend time for community volunteers that I have ever seen.

Sadly, I could rephrase that about Linford Christie.Stormwarning[c] wrote:

Not saying Thorpe is or isn't guilty, just providing an example as to why I don't automatically believe "nice blokes".

We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
Strange that he announced his retirement almost simultaneous to the Drug Testers arriving on his doorstep last year!!
Will be interesting to see the outcome of this one and yes I was never a fan, BUT that is not clouding my judgement on this issue!
Cheers

Go the Mighty Melbourne Storm and the Mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!!
So did Christie. So did Carl Lewis.lotti wrote: he's strongly denied the allegations.
Come to think of it, so did Ben Johnson.

Thorpe is one of the most tested swimmers in the world.
I find it interesting though the the test back in May 2006 is only now being released and that Thorpe wasn't contacted until only yesterday.
