AFL 2007
Uhm - I don't recall rubbing it in too much. Regardless of the outcome - it was a ripping game of football. The outcome made it a tad *just a tad* better!
As for the comparison of Carlton being the Bunnies of the AFL? Really - let's count the spoons shall we?

I had some $$$ on a Storm, Carlton and Fulham triple weekend (all three were favorites). Storm won, Carlton won, looking good I think... bloody 1:1 draw to Fulham. DAMN!
Buzz, you should be happy with the weekend. I would rather get the wins in favour than the loses.

I really have to say that the only way that Boofa played at that kick from Orford was if he cracked a fat.

It was Grant, and despite the umps' screw up a player of his experience should convert from there.Buzz wrote: I must be the same as you PS - not a single tip right YET!
Kangas were dominant for the first 3 quarters. And then they let the scum back into the game. Not only that - let them beat them! There is one major controversy that came out of the game. Kangas player took a mark inside the 50. Ump payed a 50m penalty. Now simple maths tells you that if the mark is less than 50m from goal, and you take the player forward 50m, then the player should be on the goal line. Instead, the mark from 15m from goal, and the player (I think it was Grant) hit the post. Kangas lose by 3 points as opposed to possibly winning by 2 pts.
Besides we got a few good calls in the second and third quarters ... I was surrounded by Collingwood fans (my initial seat was directly behind their cheer squad and next to the ugliest of bogans so I moved about 4 bays over) and after one goal kicked by Harvey a couple of them looked like they'd kill me for applauding because the umpire failed to notice a Pies player being pushed while going for the ball.
