The last original Storm player to be actively playing in an elite competition (NRL or Super League), Tony Martin has apparently called it quits due to a serious injury, I can't quite find the link again to find what the injury is. He has been a very valuable contributor at many different clubs over the journey and will sadly finish on 95 career tries (33 NRL and 62 Super League). Obviously many here will remember him fondly for his parts in the '99 Premiership and the 2000 WCC victory. He also had many good years at the Warriors and in Super League with various clubs. A great defensive centre who must surely have been thought of during those years when NSW were winning everything as an option to close down Gasnier and co out wide. Good luck in retirement.

Can't believe he was still playing this year. Apart from his time at the Storm where he scored a try in the '99 GF, he was very much the invisible man for the rest of his career. Even at the Warriors about 6-7 years ago he went largely unnoticed.

Who remembers "Mega Martin" running up and down the eastern stand at the graveyard. :-D
