Thought i would start a thread on the other teams in the league.

So far for Round 1, i would say the Dragons look to be the team to beat, they played very well against the Titans. Thurston & Bowen looked very dangerous against the Broncos & what a game between the Roosters & Souths.

Going to be a terrific season.

i'd say souths will fail like the last couple of years
roosters really need Carney fit and sober to be a real force
titans missed Laffranchi Minichiello and Friend so can improve
with 3 big names out of titans the dragons full strength wasnt that impressive, they can be beaten
cowboys will be a lot better this season but might just miss the 8
and i hope manly and broncos are at the bottom of the ladder all year ;D

The new rule about PTB disadvantages teams like Manly & Broncos, who have always stepped a couple before PTB.Round 1 reflected that.
Lizards ? beatable by a committed side with good defensive mindset.
Canberra still potent without Tongue
And Knights the dark horse.

The Dragons are the Dragons. All things equal, they'll win the Minor Premiership.

I've been fairly impressed with the C'boys, Raiders & Knights this w'end. The C'boys a lil more so cos they virtually beat a full-strength Broncos & have Tate & Winterstein out still & lost Bolton early...

The Raiders & Knights only beat what was in front of them but again, they were the best teams that the Sharks & Panthers could field so props to them for doing what they could while still having players out themselves...

We'll most certainly thereabouts. 4th-5th position at a guess. I'd be happy with 3rd-4th even...

I'd just be happy with top 8 at this stage, if they play like the boys did in round 1 we are going to be hard to beat.

Aiden Tolman was enormous for the Dogs last night. They certainly looked like a dark-horse for the title like I tipped them to be.

Knights look as though they could be the dark horse, good call.

It's an interesting season so far, be it only 2 games in.

a lot of injuries in rd3, hopefully it doesnt follow into tonights game against the cowboys.

the knights and the tigers suffered the most with a few long term injuries

I must say that I`m too biased towards STORM to be bothered watching any other team this season. :pottytrain2: The only time I will watch another team is when we play them.
