After all the bitterness of the so-called SuperLeague war, Ken Arthurson (former manly supremo and ARL chairman) is the absolute last person I would ever expect to have anything positive to say about the Storm and Broncos playing finals footy.

But here it is
Former Australian Rugby League chairman Ken Arthurson said he was looking forward to both matches this weekend.
As for those traditionalists who believe the Bulldogs-Eels match would have made a better grand final, Arthurson had this to say about the eventual showdown between the old guard and new breed: "We do want to spread the game and there's no question that rugby league ultimately wants to become a national game.
"They're trying to spread their wings and what better way to do it than how it's turned out. Anyone who doesn't think it's for the good of the game doesn't have the good of the game at heart."
We must all hang together or, most assuredly, we shall all hang separately
