Ok, after the hijacking of several threads by fantasy league players, i think its time we had our own thread
im pretty proud of my recruiting this week in the fox comp

Props: Thaiday - Weyman
Hooker: Smith
Backrow: Johnson - Hindmarsh - Laffranchi
Halfback: Herbert
Inside Backs: Campese (c) - Ferguson - J Ropati
Outside Backs: Slater - Goodwin - Sailor
Interchange: Prior - Pettyborn - Collis - Reddy

the 6 players who played last night have only managed 168pts, but ive got high hopes for Campo this week as captain

smiths value may go down if we see him play 5/8 mor often, being out of the action in defence will effect his tackle count and his weekly points per week.

ferguson is on his last chance this week with me, he had big wraps on him coming in to the season and hasnt really shown much. Herbert from raiders has proven hes worth signing compared to the other big name halfs, not great points, but he leaves some points for the other backs

the only certanties in my team for nxt week are weyman, sailor and thiaday. i may axe billy and get a more experienced inside back compared to ferguson

i love fantasy comps!

would a mod sticky this for me?

remaining cap is 0.6 haha, i have a salary cap and im going to use every bit of it!

but when i sold sutton, i got 2 extra points because he went up in value, same with matt white from the titans , sold him and got an extra .5 of a point or something , it will be interesting to see how he goes tonight, i dont have high hopes for any of my titan players in any comp

I was talking about the supercoach comp - that's the only one I'm in, so I don't really understand the other system...

nrl isnt the best for high tackle counts, im pretty sure they are the comp that only gives half a point for each tackle
if u were in the daily tel comp, farah and dj would have killed it last night as captain!

my nrl comp team has scored like this so far

slater 13 (getting the boot this week)
mannering 21 (surprised the warriors v bunny scores are up so fast)
alex glenn 24
hayne 44
inglis 25 (possibly axing him too)
cam 61 (vice captain)
isaac luke 30
n friend 58
laffranchi 52
hindmarsh 104 (captain)
fitzgibbon 49

bench
weyman 40
kenny-dowell 16 (may axe him, only good for trys and they dont score well in nrl comp)

me anc chocolate soldiers are having a close game with only 80 points between us

Looking good there nacho.
Mine so far,

1. Slater, Billy 13
2. Moon, Joel 21
3. Covell, Luke 0
4. Kemp, Denan 16
5. Inglis, Greg 25
6. Sa, Setaimata 29
7. Thurston, Johnathan 0
8. Friend, Nathan 58
9. Lima, Jeff 50
10. Blair, Adam 44
11. Harrison, Bronson (VCapt) 0
12. Johnson, Dallas 71
13. Stagg, David (Capt) 0
substitutes
7. Rapira, Sam (Resv) 28
10. Taufua, Mark (Resv) 0
Luck, Micheal (Resv) 50
Koopu, Wairangi (Resv) 28

Probably gonna axe Billy aswell, and Kemp/Covell depending on how they go.
Kemp kicking goals and scoring tries still doesn't compare to Mannering's tackles.

What is this head-to-head thing?

head to head is your team versing another team in your league, which ever team scores the most points overall is the winner, its a pretty cool idea

Isa stuffed up my NRL.COM picks this week, though I will get Denen Kemps points as the sub. I'll probably look to bring Luke Lewis or Ben Harris into my team this week, $48k left over in my cap so that will help Both play-backrow but are listed as centers. 600 points so far with a few Campese, Harrison & Shillington to come.

In Foxsports Dureau let me down, only worth 1.8 points but I think I'll dump him this week. Probably have to sacrifice Jeremy Smith & Josh Morris though to get a decent 7 in. Might bring Tomane in too if he's going to get the nod over Isa for the rest of the year, only 1.8points.

Noas tip for the Week.

Get Russell Packer in wherever you can, still relativley cheap atm and wont be affected by the Origin period

there is a lot to like about Packer isn't there!  He looked good last year in the few games he got, but he's a monster of a kid!!
