Awesome ad, brought a smile to my face, especially the footage from the Storm vs Broncos semi final.  :D

Sorry to buck the trend here...but what a waste of a few million dollars.

No use doing an ad like that and then

1) NOT showing it across the country
2) Allowing Channel Nine to show it when it likes and only in the Sydney market.
3) Not pushing the ad in other media outlets...Foxsports are doing their own from their footage
4) and most important....NOT BOOKING ANY AIR TIME FOR IT IN MELBOURNE OR VICTORIA

I'd rather see the money used in growing the game in a REAL way where it is going to bring people to our game and more sponsors money....this I'm afraid wont.

While it is some time ago, lets remember that the Simply the Best campaign was ran in every state and for years and that was a NSW only based comp....and that is the difference.....EVERY STATE.

Hi everybody!

I and Sam Shaw, Lance McGuire and Steve( from Sydney) were guests of the NRL and the STORM at last night's 2009 Season Launch Cocktail Party at the Domain in Sydney!!

We had an absolute ball, we were made to feel very welcome and the atmosphere was fantastic!

Yummy Food and alcohol ( for those who were drinking) were in abundant supply all night!

Cam, GI, Craig and Brian were very happy to see us there and chatted with us all and stayed relatively close by for the evening.

The commercial launch had a real buzz to it and it was repeatedly broadcast throughout the evening and it is very catchy, with all heard to be woo hooing along at various times!

It was fantastic that there was no segregation, we were amongst the players and officials all night and at no time were made to feel we were intruding!

Hopefully, the Dally M setup will be reviewed and a similar set up as last night will be used in relation to supporters not being apart from the action and atmosphere. Supporters for the 1st time ever were not invited to the Dally M's last year, but prior to that I always had the assignment of having STORM supporters attend, but all supporters were kept separate from the players throughout the night!

Well done the NRL! ( you never thought you would hear me say that!!) Thankyou so much for inviting us as guests, we loved it and really look forward to the season commencing next Friday night the 13th!!

Cheers
Bunnies :D :D :D
Go the Mighty Melbourne Storm and the Mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs!!
