Amazing what can happen when you get fine weather on game day,(and a bit of timely thuggery on the other teams key player   ).
Had to laugh at the sudden interest in not only staging the WCC in Sydney but expanding it to include "other teams"  ???

I managed to last the whole day without finding out the result so watched it "live" at 10pm tonight (kind of like watching a Sunday afternoon Nein game with the delay).

What? Mough got MOM?!?!? GOM more like it (Grub Of the Match). Hmm, no actually GOM belonged with the serial grub Matai.

Can some please tell me that Jason Robinson is reffing in the ESL this year. He was atrocious. Womanly were very lucky with that second try of theirs, blatant forward pass. Leeds were unlucky losing Burrows like they did, really put a dint in their attack.

what about the Leeds 'try' where Maguire clearly dropped the ball over the line...

I DIDN'T  ;D This years WCC was a loss/loss contest regardless of who won, though Manly edged out Leeds in the teams I love to hate stakes  ;-)

That was a fair try, it was scored against Manly so that seals it as fair!

When the Storm played Leeds they had 1 change to their GF side and we were a whole new team and still missing key players (Smith, Inglis)
There was a freakin monsoon that day azwell. They won by 8 points! Manly were always going to win.
