well done Beaver, Kite and Mattie. Come on Orford played better on the week-end than Finch did, the selectors obviously didn't see those tries he set up. Finch might get suspended for that spear tackle so Orford is still in with a chance, no one spear tackles a Storm player and gets away with it.

From nrl.com:
Canberra winger Adam Mogg is set for a shock State or Origin debut after being called up to replace the injured Greg Inglis in the Queensland team.
The 28-year-old Sunshine Coast product will join the Maroons squad in camp in Brisbane on Wednesday.
Queensland has decided against flying Inglis to Brisbane for further assessment after he was diagnosed with stress fractures of the back which are expected to keep him out of action for 2-4 weeks.
Penrith's Rhys Wesser had been considered a more likely replacement for Inglis than Mogg.
Mogg and Brisbane fullback Karmichael Hunt will be both be making their Origin debuts at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday.

Lillyman was definately a shock choice as was MoggFampa wrote: Ok. Carroll is out.
Jacob Lillyman is in.
Tell me, is Ryan Hoffman injured or did he run over one of Mal's kids or something.
Umm not sure but i think Hoffy is a New South Welshman as he played in the City v Country Origin. He could have played for Queensland initially cos his dad played for Queensland but I am pretty sure he declared himself from New South Wales as he played all his junior footy there.

Playing for city would make him inelligble for Qld, or so I am led to believe.
Case in point being former Bulldogs 5/8 come hooker Craig Polla-Mounter, Melbourne born, Qld raised but played his first senior game in Sydney for the Bulldogs. There was one year he was almost a certainty for Qld but was never picked due to having played in a City Country game.

Of simalar wain and although not born in Melbourne, the most noteable for me was Peter Sterling. Qld born and breed, played first game in NSW, became a NSW legend with not so much as a peep out of Queenslanders on the issue (at the time).Christabella wrote: Case in point being former Bulldogs 5/8 come hooker Craig Polla-Mounter, Melbourne born, Qld raised but played his first senior game in Sydney for the Bulldogs. Am I on my only or does there really need to be an over all over this fracse?
