I played juniours for Norhtern Thunder because we had no team in Sunbury for my age group, but then started playing seniors with Sunbury Cougars after Under 16's.
I can't wait until training starts.

I'm hoping to get to a few more games this year. Depends on the draw and if it conflicts with the Storm's schedule.

Not if the Storm game is on at the same time. For away games I go to a pub which has pay tv to watch. If 2006 is the same as 2005 then the VRL games will be on a Sunday afternoon, but given the number of teams their season doesn't start until April.

it's a pity you can't tape the game or wait for the replay, Round 3 is a saturday night game.

I'm thinking about training with them part time.

What ever happened to St Kilda?
They were so good for so many years. They beat us in the 2000 First grade grand final 26-8. Mate I felt so depleted, as we had played so well all year to be beaten by them. I have never played in another grand final since.

as a new pom to the area I would love to get involved with one of the teams on a coaching basis, (fully qualified in the uk and extensive experience of coaching elite youngsters) Unfortunatley (as far as rugby is concerned) I live in Gippsland so all the teams are a fair trip away. Anybody want a wllling person to help in coaching but with no ongoing commitment due to travelling please let me know

cheers :D
