the whole country only went nuts because they finally won. In the past, noone gave a stuff when they lost!!

Yeah I reckon a lot of people would know the names Kewell, Schwarzer, Aloisi and even Viduka, whether they could tell you what they look like or what club they play for is another matter.

Besides you must agree that there are plenty of other people out there who are fans of union and soccer and who would be able to name the entire squads. While I'm not a huge fan of the sport of Rugby Union I could give you a list of other Australian players I know and recognise, as as for soccer, I am about as passionate about it as I am for League, AFL or a number of other sports.
The stupidity is in the generalisation that "no one cares" but I, for one, have given up trying to make sense of anything Lotti says that's why I let it pass until now.

Can you name all the ones who are playing in England?

Here are some names of players based in other countries:
John Aloisi, Marco Bresciano, Vince Grella, Zeljko Kalac, Paul Agostino, Jason Culina, Tony Vidmar, Scott Chipperfield, Mile Sterjovski .... and of course Archie Thompson
