BBC RL Web site:
Australia prepared for next week's Tri-Nations final against Great Britain with a hard-fought 52-30 victory over a defiant France in Toulouse.
Marshalled by Australian coach Mick Aldous, the French team raced away with three tries in the opening 20 minutes.

Maxime Gresseque was the inspiration, a deft pass and precise kick setting up two tries and he notched the third.

Australia responded with three tries in just eight minutes, and after a French revival, broke clear again late on.
Well played Australia and well played Max...Eeh by gum mon ami!
