So everyone (ie Parra fans and Sydney media) are basing their opinion on Jarryd Hayne being the best on 6 or 7 great games at the end of last year and 2 or 3 good games prior to the weekend.

How can he be the best when he has done virtually nothing in Origin or for Australia? He also did nothing in last year's grand final. He suffers so much under pressure that he took the same two boots to the grand final and missed the team bus for one of the Origins.

1. No, at that stage there was a better performing halfback.
2. Johns playing out of position got involved in the game and worked hard. He was an asset to the team. Hayne on the other hand sulked on the wing and made no attempt to get involved.

Hayne is an inconsistent primadonna who doesn't like doing the hard yards, which is why the NSW selectors are nervous about having him at fullback and why the only way he will ever wear the number 1 for Australia (which he should never be allowed to anyway; his debut was for Fiji and he shouldn't be allowed to switch loyalties just because he gets a better offer) will be if Billy is on holiday, Minichello is injured and Stewart is in gaol. He's a whiner, a diver and an all around cat.
