I know it will be hard for a lot of Roosters fans to admit this but Braith Anasta has the potential to be a better player than brad Fittler and i have no doubt he is the solution the the Roosters 5/8 woes.

Anasta is still very young and has worked very hard in training in the last couple of season and is in great form and in my opinion can only get better.

We all know how good fittler is he lifts the players around him and has great vision and reads the game well. But these are all attributes Anasta will develop over time and i think he can do it.

What do you guys think?

Funny then that the only person who I have seen agree to this is a Roosters fan
My favourite reply:
it's like comparing lump of sh1t with a pile of tu.rd. they both crap.
The Bulldogs didn't need Anasta to defeat the Roosters with Fittler and when they last played each other neither really played that well.

fittler is tons better then anasta...but then agian maybe after anasta has been in the game aslong as fittler then maybe that would be the best time to compare.

anasta is only 23 so he has alot of footy ahead of him.

I think that's entirely the point, he is asking will Anasta be better than Fittler after his career has fully developed.
The point I make is that I don't think Fittler was good as some say he was.

IMHO both of them aren't as good as the hype around them suggests...

Care factor zero and dropping,

Both over rated and over paid, but gee the Chooks have lost their direction since Blind Freddy retired and now Anasta is going to save them! NOT!

Cheers

Look here Mr Kingy I'm not the only one that thinks Fittler was over-rated and these comments come from people who don't like the Dogs, so there must be more to it than that.
I wouldn't have called him the most over-rated player whilst he played but he certainly wasn't one of the all time greats.

My 2c: Fittler was a great player, but for quite a while he did not play to his full potential at the Roosters in my opinion. During this time he was still receiving accolades for being brilliant and playing great footy, even though I could not see anything special in what he was doing.
I reckon he played some of his best footy in his last couple of years at the Roosters, and does deserve the "great" tag for his career overall, but I still think his best footy overall was played at the Panthers.

As for Anasta, he is good, but not as good as Fittler. Whether he gets better in time, I guess we'll find out...
