Tigers & Eels 8-all at H/T. Two freak tries to the Tigers (one was set up by Benji Marshall with a behind-the-back pass, the other was grounded in the corner with the Tigers player's foot J-U-S-T in the field of play), but Tuiaki has suffered a suspected broken ankle. Was happily watching it on the WWW when the coverage was just cut-off for no discernible reason just moments before half time.
Broncos 6-2 Dragons at H/T in the other match...

TUIAKI! nooo my dreamteam! i dont want to bow out of the finals this early
good to see the dragons looking at back to back losses this week
if we win all our games convincingly, is ther any chance we can get top spot?

The Broncos are back and a major threat again....they handled the Dragons pretty easy last night.
far out can't they just go away.
The Tigers/Eels game was pretty entertaining though. Jarryd Hayne, unstoppable maybe?

Yeah hayne looks to be really enjoying his footy this year. His confidence is sky high. The eels are looking really dangerous at the moment.

That second try to the Tigers was absolute bullshit, the replay clearly showed his foot was on the line before the ball was grounded. It was much more clear cut than the disallowed try to the Blues in Origin. Clearly should have been no try. Another case of the video ref trying to add his bias to the game.

That was the softest try you could ever hope to see - but NQ blew yet another good lead. Up 22-8 at h/t, then the Knights put on four tries to one, and win it 32-26. Newcastle move up to fifth, one point behind Storm.
Meanwhile, what little hope Souths had of making the finals was wiped out by the Panthers, who won 40-10. Penrith jump to seventh place with that win, their last home game for 2009...
