I expect Hunt to make way for Fonua. Kennar needs to show something.

Whole team must lift. Not for our precarious position on the ladder. Not for the team. Not even for the fans... For Cam.

Everyone should be running harder and tackling harder than they have all year.

Hunt deserves more than 2 games before we throw him to the wolves.

I'd love to know how much of our defensive breakdowns on the edge come from our system or the player making terrible decisions. It's probably a bit of both when you consider our inexperienced our centres have been.

well I didn't go to training yesterday but my friends did and they said hunt fonua and kenner were switching between reserves and firsts

Did Bellamy catch Duff with his daughter or something?
Easily a better choice than Kennar or Hunt

Duffie can't play first grade cause he is only on a second tier contract...I would love him to play but he cant

As said previously, if we have spent our second tier cap already then heads in front office need to roll.

It may have more to do with continuing to play NAS and/or Welch over Weston once fit.

Duffie trained at the captain's run today. Usually the captain's is for only the team playing. Duffie could be 18th or 19th man as it is a home game there is usually more the 17 players doing the warm up before the game.

Quick summary. In a nutshell;
Each club has $5.5 million to pay their top 25 players for a season. (Give or take, depending on certain conditions)
Outside of that they have $375K to pay any other player who plays first grade for them that season - this amount applies only for payments for first grade games (so if a 20s player plays one game of 1st grade only that one match payment counts against the second tier cap, everything else he is paid comes from the 20s cap).
Feeder clubs (Easts and Falcons) have their own caps independent of first grade.

If you have spent all your second tier you are only able to play a player outside your top 25 if no player who regularly plays that position is available (say everyone who plays at fullback or on the wing is injured, you could bring in a fullback from your QLD cup side.)

Mahe and Welch onto the bench.

Kenny did a decent job there last week but I don't know about playing there all game... Mahe is at least there as cover and if all goes well, we may finally see how Fonua goes in the backrow.

Other change is Hinchy starting with Finucane to the pine. Sentimental for CAM300 I suppose.

Even with all the changes, somehow Proctor remains in the starting lineup. Gotta laugh.
