Well it's us against either the Bulldogs or the Warriors in the first week of the finals.

Who would you rather play against and why?

Yep its us and Bulldogs regardless of the result. Could be 5th v 8th or 6th v 7th is the only difference.
Their form isn't great and we've been close to where we'd like to be.
Be nice to be the first team to win from outside the 8 but one game a time I suppose.

Yep, I really need to know what day the game will be held as I will have to cancel work if it is on Saturday

I don't understand why they can't set it that say 1v4 is Friday 5v8 is 5.30 Saturday followed by 2v3 at 7.30 and 6v7 is sunday. then people can start to plan ahead if they know where their team will finish.

You must know the answer to that Mattpoet....................Channel 9. Whatever teams rate the best is the way they pick. The NRL has no say.

Cause nine will want the bigger game for Friday night which is Souths/Manly. I guarantee we play the early Saturday game.

Although Broncos could still make the 8 and then it would be Cowboys/Broncos. The Broncos are the Friday night team, but I can see that being played 7.30 Saturday night. I to think that we will play early Saturday.

haha - well, it was a bit tongue in cheek, but I know with the McIntyre it was set in order. It should be to try to maximise breaks, so given the Dogs played today, as did Penrith, you'd reckon they will be Sat or Sun game.

My guess would be:
Fri Manly v Souths
Sat 5.30 Storm v Dogs
Sat 7:30 Cowboys v Broncos
Sun Roosters v Penrith
