Story on the SMH site has his manager talking to Storm, Sharks, Raiders and Cowboys. He never signed with the Sharks, it was put on social media and everyone thought it was true.

:-\ Meh... I wish the kid all the best. Needs to work on his defence primarily (a few extra kgs would probably help).

Similar to Roberts in that his first thought should always be to take the line on. His best asset is his running game.

In his 11 games in 2014, Hampton averaged;
2.45 Tackle Breaks per game (Second most for the club, behind Slater on 3.47)
0.36 Try Assists per game (Fourth most for the club, behind CC on 1.5, BR on 0.55 and BS on 0.47)
1.18 Errors per game (Third most for the club, behind Slater and Waqa on 1.47 each)
0.73 Penalties Conceded per game (Second most for the club, behind Smith on 0.88)
3.09 Missed Tackles per game (Third most for the club, behind Mann on 3.38 and Fonua on 3.15)
0.27 Line Breaks per game (Second FEWEST for backs at the club, behind Mann on 0.25)
