Best of luck to him at Cronulla. I hope he reaches his potential there.
Takes time to develop? DCE, Shaun Johnson and Luke Brooks say hi, hell even Widdop just arrived out of nowhere

History says Toovey, Johns,Langer..... I'm embarrassed for you

Also Hampton shits on Roberts

unfortunately for the 'now generation', not everyone can be an instant success at everything. some can be successful straight away but, others do take time even though you may be able to see obvious talent.

You mean DCE the first Maroons player to shit his pants in 9 years? The one that also had to spend a year in QLD Cup so that he could take the time to develop?

Why don't you crawl back into your hole.

This. If Coops doesn't get injured in Origin 1, QLD win the series. End of.

Lol what about $mith? Thurston? What did Slater do? DCE was well marked and these elder statesmen did squat Lol blame the kid when the senior players do to help? Nothing Lol

You have one player seriously marked.... logic dictates you go elsewhere but Smith was too dumb to pass to Thurston Lol, he's fading and so is the finals chances of his team, you've probably got a outside chance this year and next, then pooooof, coach and spine gone, welcome to 13th

Seriously cherry, you slithered away from this board and hid all year then come crawling back to comment on a trumped up story from a nsw dickhead looking for 15 seconds of fame.

You were beaten by storm who also had injuries to players in both games we played you and complain about refs despite the fact that ur side ( just as dirty as any side in this comp) are favoured by refs every week, only A Souths game reffed by Shayne Hayne is more corrupt. (Or cowboys being screwed by Checcin)

Slater was injured and delivered more than the so called messiah DCE ( who I acknowledge as a good player with enormous potential but like most young players are overhyped by media)
Smith played with an injured ankle in game one and was still part of QLDs best players in both games.

Seriously I don't know if you have to troll other teams boards because you have nothing better to do than talk shit to validate your own insignifigance but seriously either add some form of a valid or educated opinion of value to the board or go away and talk crap over on the manly boards.

This is a community for storm people, we are not desperately seeking attention on your forums, so grow up.

The Storm most likely can not up their offer due to salary cap. We are paying the best three players in the game. The Sharks and Cowboys really only have one name player.

Well that makes sense. Storm are comfortable to keep Ben but only on their financial terms.

Chez...so called sports experts were calling for crab cherry evans to replace COOPS. Why I don`t know, when he came on to replace the No 1 Halfback in the world he was like a deer caught in headlights. Instead of going forward he ran across the ground for 30 metres and progressed 2 metres. He never got the team one goal line dropout, he shit himself under pressure. He is only in the team to carry Coops bags to and from the bus. He might be ok one day but at this point he still has a lot to learn from his master COOPER CRONK. Cameron Smith made more metres, tackled more than your princess and he was on a bad ankle. crabby was unfortunately the halfback for soo 1 & 2 and QLD lost. Mal Meninga has always known that crabby was just not up to the job that is why he was the bench warmer. In the games against Storm crabby didn`t do anything good and was outplayed.

:lol: Hasler selected Trent Hodkinson as first choice half for Manly ahead of DCE when Orford left. DCE was left to develop his game in the Q Cup.

Johnson was forced to play NSW Cup and further develop after finishing NYC... and even then, Johnson was hit and miss for a long time.

Did you actually even watch Widdop when he first started playing 5/8 when he was at the Storm? What aspect of his time there gave you any sense at all that Widdop was best suited as a playmaking half???

Shows how brilliant you are at reading games...

Roberts on average has;
Three times as many Try Assists
Four times as many Offloads
Twice as many Line Breaks
Misses 50% less tackles
Gives away 50% less Penalties

They share;
Equal Line Break Assists
Equal Errors
Equal Tries

Hampton makes an extra 10 running metres per game.

Cherry - Maybe you should stick to defending child rapists and spend less time offering inaccurate, baseless opinions on football?

Although, according to RLW, we are chasing Sia Soliola hard.

Sia is a second rower capable of playing centre. Hits and runs hard but that's from his Rooster days. Haven't seen what he's like in the ESL though.

Would take him for sure. He was great for Samoa in the World Cup. Would bring with him some leadership/experience which wouldn't go astray with us losing both Hoffy and Moors. He'd definitely be a good impact player off the bench.
