McLean Report
I can not see a light penalty happening. The people in charge are so concerned about the looking like they are doing the right thing more the doing the right thing. The fact that charge was sent straight to the judiciary means he is in for a tough night. They were too gutless to give it a grading because they did not want to upset people. Most people it is only a grade 1 or 2 offence. But charges that low do not have a heavy penalty, which is not what the NRL wants.

Arms around leg..yes
Lifting legs...yes
Lifted above the horizontal and dumped vertically...no
Ex 1st grade players ...if they are being fair dinkum...will know that it was just a terrible and tragic accident.
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
Good luck Jordan..

Jordan has pleaded not guilty. Defence argued position of Alex's head contributed significantly to injury.
Surprised he pleaded not guilty given he lifted above horizontal. Pleading not guilty is even more reason for the haters to hate the Storm.

Does it affect your punishment if you are found guilty after a not guilty plea?steaming stormer wrote:found guilty according to Dean Ritchie

NRL counsel asking for grade 3-4. Without the tragic outcome, that tackle is at worst a grade 1
