So looks like they are giving Cronk an extra week... The injury report on the Storm website said that they will give him until late in the week though to prove his fitness. Hopefully Hinchcliffe's ankle is ok.

Geez, Garbutt is unlucky to miss out. Couldn't have done much more in the trials/9s to earn a jersey.

Can't wait. Questions will do doubt be raised over the Young/Mahe combo on the left. Hopefully they kill it.

I know bellamy likes to play games with late inclusions but I hope Young T, hampton and roberts all actually play. Might aswell give us a taste of them early in the year than when it really matters eg.SOO/rep

How exactly does Rose prove the haters wrong ? He is who he is. This week he keeps out one of our young players in Garbutt who's been fantastic for us in the trials and Nines.

Less said about Roberts the better. Craig being Craig there.

According to the injury report on Storm TV Cronk will be given until the last minute to proof his fitness, with a fitness test most likely on Thursday. If he passes that he will play, but he will be ready for round two no problem.

14 - 18 is looking the goods. Brings back memories of the monster benches of 2007/08 with Smith, Blair, Manu and Kaufusi etc. fighting for spots

Garbutt can feel pretty hard done by. Was looking forward to him being in team. I just hoped he doesn't get used for only a couple of games like last year.

The Roberts selection does make me laugh but the one that really annoys me is Garbutt not making the 1-17 named. With his size and speed, something we haven't seen in a Storm jersey in years, I'm shocked Bellamy's gone with other players over him. The forward pack just screams boring to me.

Our left edge is going to get a work over too. Young, Mahe and one of Roberts/Hampton defending together doesn't give me much confidence.

Nice on, Young T. I remember he was running around for Northern Thunder 16s in my first year reffing.

Something that could happen is Harris goes to centre and Fonua pushes out with Young to actually miss out on making his debut. Garbutt will then move onto the bench.

Possible, sounds like Bellamy I suppose.

I doubt that will happen...I think we will be 1-17 as named with Hampton missing out if Cronk is back.

I also think Mitch Garbutt will be in the team soon all it will take is one injury.

Why would Hampton miss out if Cronk comes back ?

I have a feeling Roberts will play on Sat night..I hope i am wrong...
