Have to agree with Blazza. The idea is interesting but he would want way too much money and he'd definitely have to pull his head in

Gun player....but is obviously a loose cannon.

Storm would also have to pay him with Monopoly money.

If he got himself a much smaller wallet and was prepared to adopt our culture I'd say "hell yeah"
Under those terms he'd be a gun 5/8 and potentially our main playmaker into the future post-Coops.

He wants to head to Sydney too. That's where his mates spuddy and Beale have gone.

i wont make alot of friends with this but...

considering the age of the big 3 and the return we will get if we invest 30-40% of our cap into them i would not be too opposed to offloading coops or billy and slot o'connor into the vacant position, obviously he is not suitable to play hooker.

Yeah I would agree with that - either Cronk or Slater gets shifted and OÇonnor comes in for the next 7-10 years

I know that from an age point of view it would probably make sense but why would we move on two guys who have shown so much commitment and dedication to the club, and achieved so much, for someone who is rapidly building a reputation as a ratbag ( capable or not)? Guys like Bill, Coops, Cam and Hoffy are invaluable to us, not just on the field but from a marketing point as well.

I don't even know where O'Connor would fit in league. I don't watch much rugby but the times I've seen him play as a fly half he looked terrible. Looks more of a ball runner with no passing skills. So really he'd be a one dimensional fullback or a centre/winger. $$$$$ he'd want would be far too steep for me.

Great, great talent but unfortunately would not fit in with our "no d*ckheads" policy.

That and he would be far too pricey.

I think he'd be a very average League player.
As has been said, he'd potentially be a running 5/8th, but very limited passing game so would stifle outside backs.
Also, we don't need a turnstile in defence...

He'd make the transition easily I think.
IMO a five eight or fullback.
