I would really prefer us not to have another sub-90kg winger that is ineffective in getting our sets off to a good start. I can't see us getting value out of Johnston.
I agree in principle, but with the way the game is moving at the moment, smaller faster guys may have more of a role to play. I thought Fox was too small to make an impact on hitups through the middle but he really punches above his weight in that regard. I think Johnston could be useful but I can't remember the last time we bought an already-developed winger who went on to have sustained success in our setup.
Johnston is having a heck of a game tonight . Scored a hat trick - 2 from intercepts .

Last night storm tweeted this
UPDATE | Reports tonight linking Storm to signing NQ centre Tom Opacic are incorrect. Storm has not been in any discussions regarding Tom and his contract situation.
Now I’ve never even heard this rumour to start with so I’m not sure what to make of the tweet to be honest

Yep, that is an exceptional pick up. Essentially a “freebie” experienced centre, on the eve of finals.

Really? I like him as a back-rower/interchange player, but I thought he was very average last week at centre. I'll be very surprised if he's not exposed vs Roosters this week.

Agree, hopefully Brenko Lee plays
