Official thread and signing news
Melbourne have filled out 28 of their top 30 over summer with a number of youngsters promoted to top squad deals.
Forward Max King and fullback Nicho Hynes each played NRL for the Storm in 2019 and have been confirmed in the top 30 since the initial squad was announced in November.
Bati international and former Shark, centre Isaac Lumelume, has also been given a top squad spot while Intrust Super Cup forward pair, Darryn Schonig and Aaron Pene, have been added to the top 30 to boost the club's forward depth.
Pene shifted from the Central Queensland Capras to the Easts Tigers in 2019 and took up a Storm development deal while Schonig is a former Northern Pride front rower who joined the Sunshine Coast Falcons and Storm system in 2019.

No disrespect intended...but how the hell has our Club got itself into a salary cap mess with that roster ?
Remember this day, men, for it will be yours for all time
It's a fair point. And this time next year you'll scrub Smith, JAC, Suli and Tino (at least) from that list. We need to make these final 2 roster spots really count!Storm Spirit wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 5:24 pmNo disrespect intended...but how the hell has our Club got itself into a salary cap mess with that roster ?
Jason Ryles will finish up coaching duties at the end of 2020 to take up a position with English Rugby Union as a Skills Coach.
That is not some weird piss take.
Best of luck Rylesy and thanks for the contribution.

Never been impressed by Lee at any of the 3 other Clubs he played for........so not sure my opinion will change now.......but there is the structure/discipline of playing in a Bellamy coached team that will make some difference.
My main thought is that I really wish Curtis Scott had stayed at Storm
