Hoffmans offer is reportedly 1.6M over three years. As much as I like hoffy and Proctor, I say let them both go. Harris & K Bromwich to replace them next year. Mahe will probably end up a second rower too I believe.

As much I love Hoffy and have the utmost respect for what he did for us by going overseas for the year in 2011 and then returning, we should let him go.
He will always be loved and admired by the storm faithful but much like Widdop last year, he is not worth that amount of money to us. (Widdop was not worth his asking price to us, to the dragons, Yes!
But our attack is not our major problem, are there deficiencies, absolutely but lack of scoring points is not the reason we are losing games)
Proctor and Harris are our future and if we can retain not only them but Garbutt and Mclean than we are more likely to remain competitive and competitively transition our list in the future as Mann, Munster, Hampton continue to develop rather than bottom out when our older players retire.
kevin proctor may not be worth $600k but the way certain clubs inflate prices is something the whole competition will have to deal with and I would rather pay overs for KP for a 3 -4 year contract than pay an inflated price for Hoffy for 2 years ,who after brilliant service and great form in the last two years is slowly declining much like Norrie and Hinchcliffe.

According to Zero Tackle:sallymay wrote:How many more are unsigned ? Anyone know KP Hoffy who else
Off Contract 2014: Matt Duffie, Mahe Fonua, Tim Glasby, Ben Hampton, Ryan Hoffman, Hymel Hunt, Felise Kaufusi, Richard Kennar, Matthew Lodge, Junior Moors, Kevin Proctor, Ben Roberts, Joel Romelo, George Rose, Young Tonumaipea, Cody Walker
2015: Mitch Garbutt (Player Option?), Kurt Mann, Bryan Norrie, Travis Robinson, Billy Slater, Sisa Waqa, Dayne Weston
2016: Kenny Bromwich, Cooper Cronk, Slade Griffin, Ryan Hinchcliffe, Jordan McLean, Justin O'Neill
2017: Will Chambers, Tohu Harris
2018: Jesse Bromwich, Cameron Smith
Young T, Kennar and Lodge all have question marks next to them indicating that zero tackle is unsure what their exact contract status is.
Re-sign the players in bold. Not letting Hinchcliffe/Duffie go to Parra has come back to bite us. So has extending Norrie.Mattpoet wrote:Off Contract 2014: Matt Duffie, Mahe Fonua, Tim Glasby, Ben Hampton, Ryan Hoffman, Hymel Hunt, Felise Kaufusi, Richard Kennar, Matthew Lodge, Junior Moors, Kevin Proctor, Ben Roberts, Joel Romelo, George Rose, Young Tonumaipea, Cody Walker
