RLW reporting that we are close to signing Tim Lafai from the Dragons.

His form at the Dragons has been poor - as has most of the Dragons players - but if he can regather his Canterbury form, he could be a strong signing. Hopefully his current market value reflects his current form.

Remember him carving us up in the finals only two years ago. If he has signed and we're able to get that guy then that would give us a very good centre.

I would be very happy with that Lafai always plays well against us. Plus I think he would thrive in the Storm system.

Coops already argues like husband and wife with Cam at every penalty, couldnt imagine having Mullen come in who is the shot caller at Newarsehole

Don't mind the Lafai signing. He can compete with Chambers for a spot with Scott in the other centre spot.

The RLW Mole also reported we were making inquires about Foran.

Melbourne would be the best place for Foran to go to get out of the spotlight. He won't have the media attention in Melbourne like Sydney or even Auckland. Don't think he will come to the Storm tho

I did think maybe Slater's impeding decision regarding his future could be a factor in the Foran rumours. Doubt we'd have the coin if Slater wasn't to hang them up.

Lol it's more likely Chambers will have that right centre spot locked down until he leaves than him fighting for it. Scott was mentioned as a possibly 5/8 so we have that and both left centre and wing up for grabs next year.

No thanks to Foran. Too much baggage.

Brodie Croft should be the 6 next year, this kid is doing things for Easts that can't be ignored, superstar in the making!! And how about that Addo-Carr try vs the Warriors today? Freak. Also Olam looks a real talent too!! If Slater can get back on the paddock next year also its definitely looking good, a lot of options should be interesting viewing.

Croft would make the most sense in that he's actually played in the halves, would also give him experience for when Cronk leaves. Plenty of upside in doing that.

Ado-Carr is talented but I'm not sure about him. Looks like he needs a full offseason in the weight room and needs to fix his attitude up if he wants to be a regular first grader for us.

This looks to be his biggest hurdle... There were whispers a few months back that he was trying to get out of the Storm deal, then yesterday he was in the paper talking about going back to the Tigers.

Drama queens don't do well under Bellamy. Unless he changes his attitude quick smart, he can look forward to significant time in Q-Cup and/or early release.

Addo-carr wont last the pre-season bootcamp. Finucane (and every other player, I guess) spoke about how grueling he found it and hes as tough as nails.

It's still strange that Bellamy was even interested in him in the first place. He doesn't seem to be a player we'd sign.
