Billy's hat trick tonight has moved him into equal 10th on the all time list alongside Nathan Merritt and Benny Wearing.

The top 10 are:

1. Ken IRVINE - 212 (North Sydney/Manly)
2. Steve MENZIES - 180 (Manly/Northern Eagles)
3. Andrew ETTINGHAUSEN - 165 (Cronulla)
4. Terry LAMB - 164 (Western Suburbs/Canterbury)
=5. Hazen EL MASRI - 159 (Canterbury)
=5. Matt SING - 159 (Penrith/Sydney Roosters/North Queensland)
7. Harold HORDER - 152 (South Sydney/North Sydney)
8. Bob FULTON - 147 (Manly/Eastern Suburbs)
9. Frank BURGE - 146 (Glebe/St George)
=10. Nathan MERRITT - 144 (South Sydney/Cronulla)
=10. Billy SLATER - 144 (Melbourne)
=10. Benny WEARING - 144 (South Sydney)

Obviously, due to Merritt also being a current player, Billy needs to get a couple more to cement his spot in the top 10 for years to come, but, if he goes by the rate he has done for most of his career, he should comfortably overtake Burge and Fulton this year, probably go past Horder and, if he has an exceptional year, he could even get Sing and El Masri. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CHAPION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He'll most likely finish his career second on that list.

Billy is now equal 8th:
1. Ken IRVINE - 212 (North Sydney/Manly)
2. Steve MENZIES - 180 (Manly/Northern Eagles)
3. Andrew ETTINGHAUSEN - 165 (Cronulla)
4. Terry LAMB - 164 (Western Suburbs/Canterbury)
=5. Hazen EL MASRI - 159 (Canterbury)
=5. Matt SING - 159 (Penrith/Sydney Roosters/North Queensland)
7. Harold HORDER - 152 (South Sydney/North Sydney)
=8. Nathan MERRITT - 148 (South Sydney/Cronulla)
=8. Billy SLATER - 148 (Melbourne)
10. Bob FULTON - 147 (Manly/Eastern Suburbs)

Needs 2 more to be the 5th to get 150 with one club according to Big League

Irvine had 171 with Norths
Ettinghausen had 165 with Cronulla
El Masri had 159 with Canterbury
Menzies had 151 with Manly

Dumb interpretation, All of beavers tries were under the manly license,if we're going to say manly isn't northern eagles for a records we should also put an asterisk next to all the tries Slater scored between 2006 and 2011

Actually Cherry Pooping Slater is in better stead as all his tries were for the same club. Northern Eagles were a totally different club to manly sorry loser

So easts isn't the same club as Sydney roosters? Lol amateur troll, same license same mascot same club

So What's it like having 2 premierships and being the biggest grand final losers in NSWRL /ARL /SUPER LEAGUE /NRL history?

So Cherry question for you are Wests Tigers the same club as Western Suburbs Magpies or are they the same club as Balmain Tigers or are they a merger / amalgamation of the two?

Easts changed their name to the Sydney Roosters that is all Balmain and Wests merged together as did Manly and North Sydney to form the Northern Eagles. So Easts is a different situation to the Tigpies and Eagles and Bears. I think that is the distinction people on here are making.

I get your point that the licence associated with Manly for a period of time was the Northern Eagles but the Bears were also associated with that licence. I also get your point that any "Manly" players were playing with the Northern Eagles during that time.

In any case I think this argument is a bit of a case of you say to-mart-o and I say to-mate-o.

Hilarious how Manly fans instantly get sand in their vaginas when you simply state the simple fact that Menzies played for 2 different clubs.

Arguing your manly-centric agenda is ok - albeit anoying and better suited to the General Rugby League forum.
However, writing comments like the bolded above is deliberately inciteful; aka 'trolling'. It is not a logical extension of the discussion, it's purely intended to upset and generate an angry response.

Last warning. Play nice or run away back to the manly forums.

He's now 8th, 1 behind 7th.

Irvine 212
Menzies 180
Ettinghausen 165
Lamb 164
El Masri 159
Sing 159
Horder 152
SLATER 151
Merritt 149
Fulton 147

Worth noting, that with his 18 international tries, 11 origin tries and his one against Leeds in the WCC, he's now gotten 181 for his career. 200 in sight?

Is it fair to assume he will play until he is at least 33? (Minichiello is currently 33)

If so, he should pip Menzies for second spot on that list assuming he can remain injury free and keep up his try scoring average. Don't think anyone will catch Irvine.
