Raiders to play Storm in Bega in February 2013!!!
The Canberra Raiders have confirmed they will play against the Melbourne Storm in a pre season trial game at the Bega Recreation ground in February. In what is sure to be a huge boost for the area following the success of the game in 2011 both teams are looking forward to returning to the beautiful Sapphire Coast and Bega Valley region in 2013.

WOW the Storm boys will be busy in Feb then,they have a trip to the UK to play Leeds in the WCC as well,so maybe the Raiders won't play our full 1 st grade side in that one!!

thats probably why the raiders wanted to play Storm.(think they might have a chance of winning this game) :lol:

It's more than likely the Raiders game will be canceled given the WCC is reportedly only a week after the Raiders trial is meant to be played.

Possibly but that wouldnt really be classed as a Storm trial given only a few if that would be paying in it. From reports we'll be looking to playing a warm up game over there before the WCC.
