Played two - Won one - Drawn one
And a shade higher than Leeds on the table

but very early days yet, though Leeds have discovered that 'others' can use cheap shots on them ::)

Defensively we were very good against Cas. They only broke us down once and scored another try from a kick through. It was just the weather that made it impossible to create anything in that 2nd half. I have no worries about the loss anyway. It was just one of those things where we weren't bad but conditions dictated how it was played.

Wigan Beat Salford 42-0 in Week 1 and drew 17 all with Warrington on Friday in front of 20,000. We have started using a new ball over here this season though and the players are less than happy with it. Week 1 was dry and there were very few errors but this weekend apparently it was like playing with a bar of soap. Thank god we will be using the Steeden ball for the WCC (I think).

You are having a training session with Halifax while you are in Yorkshire. I think you are playing a bit of a game against them in it too. They used to be in the Super League and are one of the top teams in the Championship. It's also Gareth Widdop's home town.

Less than 1,000 tickets left for the game, all on the Western Terrace (Open air end of the stadium).

I think the capacity these days is 21,500 so it should be a good atmosphere and in the Southstand it will be hard to move. I better cut the beer down before the game because ill never get out

The Headingley pitch yesterday, as per Billy Slater's Tweet:

I'm sure you will all be sad to know it has gone today though after heavy rain over night followed by a warm (7c) sunny day today ;)

:-D

There's no need for a back up venue. We have undersoil heating at Headingley. There was just no need to turn it on yesterday and It's all melted today anyway. We play Salford tonight there too.
