Well if that doesn't wake us up I don't know what will. Storm haters are already out.
Worse loss in a long time. Just showed nothing at all.

So he should. This was un Melbourne like. We looked like Parrafreakingmatta. Since when does Nielsen a known defensive specialist get bumped off like that. Since when does Duffie drop bombs. Hope Craig rips into em this week. Lazy all round effort.

Storm must of forgot the buy was over! Talk about a bad night at the office! also a few have why did we sihn Norrie well he did get over the line. It was our back line that leaked points like a boat coming from the north. OH well next week should tell us if we have to book tickets for the GF or not. NO GUTS AT ALL TONIGHT, NONE.

Player Reviews out of 10 - and they are not good, this was even worse than some of the losses we had under Muppet Murray. An overall uncompetitive performance against a side we have had a very good record over for the last decade. Cam not playing is no excuse, what the players served up tonight was disgraceful.

Widdop (5) - Average. Didn't have any impact in attack whatsoever.

Duffie (1) - Probably one of the worst defensive efforts a winger could have. Edrick Lee scored 3 very soft tries on him - enough said.

Nielsen (1) - Very much the same as Duffie. The so called best defensive centre in the game was woeful tonight in both defence and attack.

O'Neill (5) - Apart from his two tries in the first half, he was very quiet in the second.

Quinn (3) - What can a winger do in a game where your team mates don't help you out? Was a sitting duck most of the game and you sort of feel sorry for him. No player should celebrate their 200th like that.

Blair (1) - He is not a 5/8th Bellyache, so why play him there? Terrible performance.

Cronk (5) - He is shown to be a very average player when you don't have Captain Cam steering the ship. Apart from the 40/20, was a very disappointing kicking display.

Norrie (1) - Get rid of him, NOW!!! His time is up.

Hinchcliffe (6) - Probably the Storm's best tonight at dummy half, but he is not the same calibre as Cam.

Ryles (4) - Very quiet tonight.

Manu (3) - Couldn't dominate tonight like he usually does. Canberra well and truly had him wrapped up and he couldn't bust the line.

Hoffman (1) - Did he play tonight? I can't remember seeing him out there.

Lowrie (3) - Very quiet.

Bromwich (1) - For a guy that hasn't been in very good form all year, he did himself no favours with a woeful performance. Along with Norrie, was the worst forward tonight.

Kostjasyn (1) - Ditto Hoffman.

Proctor (2) - He hasn't been the same player since he got back from injury. Out of form and needs a spell in the NSW Cup to get him right again.

Vave (5) - Average.

I have never seen us throw so many forward passes....i lost count how many we were pulled up for and have to agree with the refs most were there. I cant believe we we beaten by a team playing catch and pass footy to the wings and then dance round us so easily. Just not our day - shame its only the second time we have had 40 put on us since Bellamy was coach, shows how good the last decade has been and how terrible tonight was. At this rate Parra could have smashed us with their second team...

We got pulled up for 4 forward passes tonight. I think only two of them were forward. The try in the first high to the Raiders winger was also a forward pass but that was not called.

All the forward passes were called by the central refs, not the touchies. I bet you can not find another game this season where the home team was picked up for that many forward passes. It was a Storm home game, the crowd was not calling for them yet the happen to find them.

Last Sunday the channel nine footy show, (The Roast section) happen to mention that Smith throws a lot of forward passes out of dummy half and never gets picked up for it. The were most likely talking about it in the hope that he got picked up for it in Origin on Wednesday night. But it must of been herad by the refs at NRL because we got picked up on it tonight. I know Smith was not playing, but because the media brought it up, they looked at Storm and we copped it again.

I think drop Quinn! And give fonua a go next week, would add more then quinn does! And bring fa'aosa in for Norrie. Also would rather hampton at 5/8 then Blair! Blair is not a 5/8 Bellamy, his shocking there.

True Cherry. but thinking the storm have been little flat of late.Seem tired or something. Hope the team can find that spark they had at the start of the season for the run into the finals, I'm sure the mighty storm will.
